Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Visiting Charge

A visiting charge is collected at the time of booking confirmation. The exact amount varies by service type and is shown before checkout. This charge covers the cost of dispatching a verified technician to your location for inspection and diagnosis.

The visiting charge is adjusted against the final service amount if you proceed with the repair. If you decline the repair after inspection, the visiting charge is retained and no further amount is charged.

2. Cancellation by Customer

Before technician dispatch: You may cancel your booking at any time before the technician is dispatched. In such cases, the visiting charge will be refunded within 5-7 working days to the original payment method.

After technician dispatch / en route: If you cancel after the technician has been dispatched, the visiting charge is non-refundable as the technician's time and travel costs are already incurred.

After service has started: No refund is applicable once the service/repair work has started.

3. Service Warranty & Rework

Urban Servv provides a service warranty of up to 6 months (varies by service type) on repairs carried out by our technicians. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period, we will send a technician to fix it at no additional charge.

Warranty is void if the appliance/system is tampered with by a third party after our service, or if the issue is caused by external factors (power surge, misuse, etc.).

4. Refund for Service Quality Issues

If you are genuinely unsatisfied with a repair and we are unable to resolve the issue after a rework visit, you may raise a refund claim within 7 days of the service date.

Refund claims must be submitted via email at contact@urbanservv.in or via WhatsApp with:

  • Your booking ID
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos or videos as evidence (where applicable)

Our team will review and respond within 3 business days.

5. Cancellation by Urban Servv

Urban Servv reserves the right to cancel a booking if:

  • No verified technician is available in your area for the requested slot
  • The booking was made in error or contains incorrect details
  • Safety or other concerns prevent service delivery

In such cases, the full visiting charge including any advance payments will be refunded within 3-5 working days.
